Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat (2023) Movie Synopsis
Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Romance Drama film that initially premiered at the 19th edition of the Marrakech Film Festival, Morroco. The film was presented outdoors at Marrakech's Jemaa El Fna Square on 17 November 2022.
The film will be released released in India on 3 February 2023. The film will be released in Hindi, English, and Urdu languages.

Cast
Alaya F and debutante Karan Mehta play the lead roles in Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat.
Alaya F is the daughter of Pooja Bedi and her ex-husband Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewala. She made her acting debut in the 2020 movie Jawaani Jaaneman.
Karan Mehta is the son of Rakesh Mehta, a famous director in Punjabi cinema. Rakesh Mehta has helmed Pollywood films such as Rang Punjab, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, and Yaara Ve, among others.
Movie Plot
Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat depicts two parallel stories. The first story belongs to a small town in Dalhousie, India. Amrita (Alaya F) and Yakub (Karan Mehta) are close friends and make TikTok videos.
There is a concert by musician DJ Mohabbat (Vicky Kaushal) in another city. The two friends wish to see DJ Mohabbat live and start their journey without telling their families.
Amrita and Yakub think they will return safely without letting their parents know about their visit in concert. However, one of their families, an orthodox Islamic, raises hell to hunt them down.
The second story happens in London. Aisha (Alaya F) is a brat teen of a Pakistani billionaire. She gets obsessed with a shy Sikh musician, DJ Harmeet (Karan Mehta). However, Harmeet is not interested in Aisha and wishes to keep her distance. Aisha then stalks Harmeet and bulldozes her way into his modest life, oblivious to the consequences that lay beyond.
Production
Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat is the second love story of Anurag Kashyap after the 2018 Hindi film Manmarziyaan featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal.
Anurag Kashyap is otherwise best known for his dark and intense storytelling in films like Black Friday, Paanch, and Gangs of Wasseypur.
