Amigos (2023) Movie Synopsis
Amigos [meaning: Friends] is an Indian Telugu-language Action Thriller film released in cinemas on 10 February 2023. Debutant Rajendra Reddy is the director of Amigo.
The film features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a triple role as Siddharth, Manjunath Hegde, and Michael (Bipin Roy).
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a "UA" rating to the Telugu-language film Amigos, vide certificate No. DIL/2/29/2023-HYD dated 6 February 2023. The runtime of the film is 139 Minutes and 05 Seconds.
The CBFC also issued certificate No. VIL/2/131/2023-MUM dated 26 April 2023 for the Hindi dubbed version. The runtime of the Hindi dubbed version is 138 Minutes and 54 Seconds.

Movie Plot
Siddharth Chiguluri (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram) is an upper-middle-class guy living in Hyderabad with his father (Jayaprakash), mother (Kalyani Natarajan), and younger sister (Pranavi Manukonda). Siddharth and his maternal uncle (Brahmaji) are best friends and often spend time together.
Soon Siddharth witnesses a pretty girl, Ishika (Ashika Ranganath), and falls for her at first sight. However, she has some prerequisites to fulfill, which are beyond the capacity of a single person.
The theory of doppelganger
While in a pub with his Uncle (Brahmaji), Siddharth learns about a doppelganger (an apparition or double of a living person). He also discovers a website that helps people find their doppelgangers (look-alikes).
Curious and excited, Siddharth visits the website and gives the requisite details. He soon receives a message and learns that Manjunath Hegde (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a double role), a software engineer from Bangalore, looks the same.
To his surprise, Siddhart soon finds that another man, Michael (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a triple role), also look-alike him.
Michael calls Siddharth and asks to meet in Goa with Manjunath. As per the plan, Manjunath and Siddharth reach Goa and meet Michael, a man with a mysterious personality.
All three soon become good friends. Manjunath and Michael help Siddharth to impress Ishika.
A twist in the story
After a few days, with heavy hearts, the trio plans to return to work. However, the situation takes a dramatic turn when the NIA (National Investigation Agency) team shoots Manjunath and detains him treating him as a dreaded criminal, Bipin Roy.
Siddharth learns about the detention of Manjunath through the media and discovers Michael paved the web for him, but unfortunately, Manjunath becomes the scapegoat.
Siddharth now decides to help Manjunath and expose Michael. However, the job is not as easy as it appears because an NIA agent is helping Bipin Roy.
What happens next? Who is Bipin Roy? Why the NIA team misunderstands Manjunath as Bipin Roy? Why does Michael or Bipin Roy want to frame Siddharth? Can Siddharth prove the innocence of Manjunath? The film Amigos gives replies to all such queries.
