Axone (2020) is a Bollywood Comedy Drama released on 12 June 2020 on Netflix. The Film initially premiered on 02 October 2019 in Lond Film Festival. Thereafter, is featured in Mumbai Film Festival on 19 October 2019.

The film follows Northeast Indian migrants who live in Delhi. The movie depicts the discrimination faced by these migrants based on their language, appearance, accent and cuisine.
The actual challenge is to cook the Pork in their rented house since the Axone paste contains a overpowering smell that raise objections from everyone around especially by their landlord and neighbor Gajendra Chauhan (Vinay Pathak) and quarrelling Dolly Ahluwalia.
Upasana and Chanbhi try to cook the special dish when there are fewer people around in their building so that fewer objections or no objection is received from any neighbor or landlord. However, their plan does not go according to them and they have to shift their party venue many a time by making a makeshift kitchen.
The movie goes ahead with the problems faced by Upasana and Chanbhi in addition to the discrimination, racism and misogyny from locals who don’t understand these migrants especial from North-East.
