Bas Karo Aunty is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Young Adult Comedy Drama film expected to be released on 14 October 2023. However, the makers have not announced any release date.
Bas Karo Aunty is based upon an Autobiographical English Novel, How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded a Million Dollar Company, written by Varun Agarwal and published in 2012.
The Novel chronically describes how Varun and his Aunty decided to start a merchandising company called Alma Mater that creates customized clothing and accessories for the alumni of schools and colleges across India.
Filmmaker couple Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari are the Producers of Bas Karo Aunty. Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur are the co-producers of the film.
Debutante Abhishek Sinha is the Director of Bas Karo Aunty. Nitesh Tiwari and Nikhil Mehrotra are the Writers of Bas Karo Aunty.
Ishwak Singh and Mahima Makwana are there in the lead roles in Bas Karo Aunty.
Varun (Ishwak Singh) is a 20 years old guy. He has a big dream in his eyes, and he wants to become an entrepreneur. However, he follows the Engineering-plus-MBA route as most of his age guys do. However, this route is not something that Varun wants to follow.
Anu Aunty is perhaps the biggest hurdle in fulfilling his dreams. But Varun somehow manages to mold his Aunty to start a business together. Both started a merchandising company called Alma Mater that creates customized clothing and accessories for the alumni of schools and colleges across India.
How Varun manages to do the miracle is the crux of the story.
