Movie plot

Bicycle days is a heartwarming story of a boy and his teacher.

Film Bicycle Days narrates the story of a 10-year-old village boy, Aashish. He is a bright student but fails to receive a bicycle through a government cycle distribution programme. Ashish misses the opportunity as he stays near the school, unlike his beneficiary friends who reside far from the school.

Ashish is a brilliant student and village champion in the game of cricket. Yet his Grandfather presents a bicycle to his elder sister. Moreover, Ashish has to use the second-hand books of his sister. These incidents destroy his morale, and he loses interest in his studies and the game of cricket.

A young school teacher Shekhar becomes a friend, philosopher, and guide of Ashish. How Shekhar helps Ashish to overcome his problems forms the rest of the story of Bicycle Days.
