Buckasura (2018) is a Kannada Language Psychological Thriller released on April 27, 2018. The movie is written by Rajasimha, produced by Rohitt and directed by Navaneeth. It is reported that the movie is loosely inspired by the Hollywood Movie the Devil’s Advocate(1997).

Movie Plot: Arya (RJ Rohit) is a money minded Advocate but without much work to do. He lives with his Mother (Sithara) and loves his fellow colleague Amrita (Kavya Gowda). He finds a case to defend a rape accused who has actually committed the crime. Arya won the case and appointed as Legal Advisor in Chokroboraty  & Chrokroborty Group of companies. Arya started doing every odd job he is asked to do by Mr. Chakroborty (V. Ravichandran), owner of the company. Finally he is asked to defend a terrorist Zakhir Khan and he is paid a very huge amount. 

Arya started neglecting his mother and fiancée due to lack of time. He devoted all his time to earn money and only money. In the meantime Amrita’s life becomes hell due to certain strange incidents inside the house but Arya does not pay heed to them. Devastated Amrita commits suicide. Arya is now alone and wants to leave the case to defend the terrorist but he has no way out to come out but to take his life.
