Movie Plot
Kavya (Rekha Nirosha), a grown-up pretty girl, is an Executive Director in a reputed News Channel. She is an ambitious girl and wants to take her career higher. However, her mother wants Kavya to get married at the earliest.
As suggested by her mother, Kavaya follows a young man, Prashant (Chandrakanth Dutta), to learn about him. Eventually, she finds him and plans to marry.
Prashant takes Kavya to Goa, and they spend quality time together. However, after returning from Goa, Kavya's father dies in mysterious circumstances.
In the meantime, Kavya learns some hidden facts about Prashant through her father's diary. She breaks up with Prashant.
A twist in the story
Soon, Karthik (Abhijay) enters the life of Kavya, and they fall in love with each other. On the other hand, Prashant visits Kavya and shows some intimate pictures of their private moments in Goa.
Unfortunately, Karthik witnesses this and misunderstands Kavya. What happens next? Will Karthik leave Kavya forever? What is the fate of Prashant? Was the death of Kavya's father natural, or someone killed him? The film Cheater gives replies to all such queries.
