Country of Blind (2023) [ Hindi Movie ]

Country of Blind is an upcoming bilingual film shot simultaneously in Hindi and English. The tentative release date of the film is 30 December 2023. However, the makers have not announced any official release date.

The film is an adaption from the short story The County of the Blind by H. G. Wells, first published in April 1904.

Rahat Kazmi is the Writer, Director, and one of the Producers of Country of Blind. The other producers are Tariq Khan, Namita Lal, Nutazaboutme, and Zeba Sajid.

Edric Hwang, Nandini Rai, and Sezairi are the Music Composers, whereas Shubham Dixit and Rahat Kazmi are the Film editors of Country of Blind.

The film features Hina Khan, Ahmer Haider, Anushka Sen, Hussein Khan, Inaamulhaq, Jitendra Rai, Mir Sarwar, Namita Lal, Pradhuman Singh, Rahat Kazmi, and Shoib Nikash Shah.

Movie Plot

An expert mountain climber falls into a strange society of "non-seeing" people. Surprisingly the isolated community of blind people is existing for fifteen generations but is cut off from the rest of the world.

The man thought that in the country of the blind, one-eyed man would be king. However, his survival efforts fail, and he gets trapped instead.
