Movie Plot

Rambabu (Venkatesh) is an orphan. He could not study much and dropped out after his 4th standard. However, Rambabu manages to establish his life and now runs a cable television service in the small town of Rajavaram, in the Araku region.

Rambabu is married to Jyothi (Meena), and the couple has two daughters Anju (Kruthika) and a younger daughter Anu (Esther Anil). Anju is sixteen, whereas Anu is ten (10) years old.

The family is a happy one because Rambabu is passionate about his family. He has one more passion, watching movies. He spends most of the time watching movies on Tv in his office while the office assistant does the required office jobs.

Twist in the story

Anu goes to a nature camp with school friends. Varun Prabhakar (Roshan Basheer), the son of Inspector General (IG) Geetha Prabhakar (Nadhiya), is in the nature camp. Varun makes an objectionable video while Anju takes a bath.

Later Varun visits Anju's house and blackmails her for sexual favours. Jyothi (Meena) comes into the picture and requests Varun not to spoil her daughter's life.

Anju also confronts Varun and pushes him while he tries to come closer to her. Varun receives a head injury and succumbs to death. Perplexed, Jyothi and Anju dig a pit and hide the body while Anu, the younger daughter, witnesses the incident.

A man's struggle to save his family

Rambabu returns home and learns about the unfortunate incident. He knows that IG Geetha will not spare his daughter and wife. Moreover, he loves his family more than anything else. Thus, Rambabu decides to save his family.

Since Rambabu has seen numerous crime movies, he knows how police will work. He first disposes of Varun's Cell Phone and then draws Varun's car into a pond. However, Veerabhadram (Ravi Kale), a police constable, who keeps grudges against Rambabu, witnesses Rambabu in Varun's car.

The next day

Rambabu takes his family on a road trip to attend a religious retreat. He goes to a restaurant, watches a movie, and rides a bus with his family. Rambabu becomes friendly wherever he goes and leaves an alibi because the films have taught him all these tricks.

Start of investigation

When Varun's phone remains untraceable, and he does not return to his home, IG Geetha starts searching for her son. When Constable Veerabhadram informs that he witnessed Rambabu in a car that appears to be someone else, Geetha calls Rambabu and his family for questioning.

Rambabu already knows the police investigation style and teaches his family members to stick to their statement that they were on a trip on the day the unfortunate incident happened.

The family sticks to their statement even when questioned individually. All pieces of evidence and alibis support the information of the family members. However, IG Geetha doubts their involvement because she thinks the family is well prepared.

Varun's father (V.K. Naresh), who also witnesses the investigation, thinks the family is innocent, but Geetha is sure there is something wrong at the bottom. She finally orders Constable Veerabhadram to take out the truth by any means.

Truth reveals

Veerabhadram beats the family member to know the truth. However, no one speaks the truth. In the end, Anu, the younger daughter, breaks down and tells the truth about the dead body of Varun, which is lying under the earth in the house premises.

Shocking twist

Geetha digs out the place with the help of police personnel. However, she gets shocked when she finds the carcass of a calf instead of her son's dead body.

Public gathers at the place since Rambabu is a respected village person. When the police do not find the body, Rambabu's brother-in-law raises an agitation, and the public attacks the police force, and they have to go back.

Consequences of police brutality

Rambabu and Anu report to the media and complains against Constable Veerabhadram. The Constable gets suspended, and Geetha resigns from her post.

Later, Geetha and her husband meet Rambabu and ask for forgiveness for their violent behaviour. They also ask about their son Varun. However, Rambabu knows they can play a foul game and hence does disclose the truth.

The climax reveals the place where Rambabu composed the dead body of Varun.
