Gadar 2 is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Action film. The film will release tentatively on 11 August 2023.

Gadar 2 will be a sequel of 2001 Hindi film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel played the lead roles in the film. They will also play lead roles in Gadar 2, which will continue its story from Gadar (2001).  

Cast & Crew

Anil Sharma was the director of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. He will also direct Gadar 2.

Anil Sharma is producing the film too with Zee Studios. Mithoon will compose music for Gadar 2.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are playing the lead roles. Utkarsh Sharma will play Charanjeet Singh, son of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol).

Shaktimaan Talwar, who earlier wrote the Story/Screenplay/dialogues for Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, has also written the screenplay of Gadar 2. He was the writer for The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003), Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo (2004), and Singh Saab the Great (2013). Shaktimaan has also written the Stories of Family: Ties of Blood (2006) and Ghayal Once Again.

Film Budget

The makers have not disclosed the budget for Gadar 2. However, it would be around Rs. 35 Crore, tentatively.

Movie Plot

Gadar 2 will continue from where it ended in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Earlier, Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) visited Pakistan to bring her bride back. Tara returns to Pakistan for bringing his Son Charanjeet Singh (Utkarsh Sharma) back to India.
