Ghamasaan (2023) [Hindi Movie]

Ghamasaan is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Action Dacoit Thriller film. The tentative release date of the film is 22 October 2023. The makers will soon announce the official release date.

Ghamasaan is based on the life of dacoit gangster Shiv Kumar a.k.a. Dadua Dacoit, the uncrowned king of the jungles of Chitrakoot and Banda.

The cop-dacoit thriller Ghamasaan takes inspiration from the life of a selfless and dynamic young IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh. The IPS puts his life on the line to serve valiantly. Pratik Gandhi portrays the IPS Officer, and Arshad Warsi plays a dacoit.

Movie Plot

Shiv Kumar (Arshad Warsi) is a simple living man, a resident of Devkali Village in Chitrakoot District. The nearby villagers brutally kill his father after making him humiliated. Shiv Kumar decides to avenge the insult and killing of his father. He becomes a rebel, forms his gang in 1984, and people call him Dadua Dacoit.

In 1986, he killed nine people on suspicion of being informers. After this incident, Dadua came into the limelight in the world of crime. He had more than 400 criminal cases registered against him. In 2007, Special Task Force (STF) killed him during an encounter.

Arshad Warsi plays the titular character of Dadua Dacoit, and Pratik Gandhi plays the character of SSP Yash, under whose leadership the STF implicated eliminated Dadua and his gang.
