Ghoomketu (2020) [ Hindi Movie ]

Ghoomketu (2020) is Bollywood Comedy Movie be released on 22 May, 2020. The movie does not have theatrical release due to epidemics of COVID 19 and consequent shut down of Cinema Halls in the overall the world. Hence, it is decided to sream the movie on ZEE5. 

Ghoomketu is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Behal i.e. two production banners Phantom Films and Sony Pictures and later acquired by ZEE5. The movie is written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra who is making his Bollywood debut as a writer director. 

Ghoomketu stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ragini Khanna, Anurag Kashyap, Deepika Amin, Razak Khan, Raghubir Yadav, Ila Arun, Swanand kirkire and Brijendra Kala. Lauren Gottlileb, Nikkhil Advani, Chitraganda Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan can be seen in the movie in a cameo appearance. This is the first movie of Nawazudding Siddiqui’s career in which he has done comic roles. Further, Ghoomketu is the first collaboration of Nawazuddin and Anurag Kashyap. 

Ghoomketu (2020) Movie Plot: Ghoomketu (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) lives at Mahona, a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India. Though Ghoomketu belongs to a powerful political family yet he wants to become a Bollywood Film Writer but he is not allowed to do that by his powerful Uncle (Chacha) Guddan Chaha (Swananad Kirkire). 

Ghoomketu does his best to get consent of his father but all in vain. In the end he decides to run for Mumbai the Maaya Nagari to prove himself. However, his father using his political power pressurizes police department to bring back his son within 30 days. A lazy and corrupt police office Badlani (Anurag Kashyap) is assigned the task to bring Ghoomketu back within 30 days or else he would get a punishment posting. Now, Ghoomket has only 30 days at the maximum to prove himself as a Bollywood Writer. But would he be able to escape from Inspector Badlani?
