Good Luck Jerry is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Black Comedy Crime film. The films is scheduled to be released on 29 July 2022. It will be a direct OTT (Disney+Hotstar) release.

Good Luck Jerry is a Hindi remake of the 2018 Tamil language Crime film Kolamavu Kokila. Nayanthara was in the lead role in the Tamil version.

Cast & Crew

Nelson Dilipkumar, credited as Nelson, directed Kolamavu Kokila as a Debutant Director. On the same pattern, Siddharth Sengupta is the debutant director of Good Luck Jerry. Siddharth Sengupta earlier directed three (3) episodes of a TV Series, The Great Escape.

Aanand L. Rai, Mahaveer Jain, Himanshu Sharma, and A. Subaskaran have jointly produced the film. Pankaj Matta has written the screenplay, and Rangarajan Ramabadran has done Cinematography for Good Luck Jerry.

Janhvi Kapoor has played the lead role in Good Luck Jerry and essayed the character played by Nayanthara in Kolamavu Kokila (2018). The other star cast includes Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, Sushant Singh, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Sahil Mehta, and Abhimanue.

Movie Plot

Good Luck Jerry depicts the story of Jerry (Janhavi Kapoor), a simple village girl. She gets trapped in an extraordinary situation when her mother is diagnosed with lung cancer.

Jerry needs urgent money and quick for her mother, and to earn the same, she is forced to join hands with a drug peddler.

Jerry is a simple girl but cunning at the same time. Her cunningness earns her a name in the drug business. The police department has an eye on Jerry, but she manages to evade it many a time.

However, she does not know that her life is in danger, and she is not even safe in her gang. What happens forms the crux of the movie Good Luck Jerry.

Production details.

The shooting for Good Luck Jerry began in January 2021 in Punjab and was completed in March 2021.
