Gully Boy (2019) is a Musical Drama Bollywood Movie released in India on February 14, 2019. The movie was premiered on February 09, 2019 in Berlin International Film Festival. The movie is produced by Ritesh Sindhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Joya Akhtar who also directed the Movie. The movie starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. The movie was made in a budget of 40 Cr and earned 238 Cr worldwide becoming the Eighth Highest Grosser Bollywood Movie of the year 2019.  The movie grabbed 13 film fare awards including Best Actor (Ranveer Singh), Best Actress (Alia Bhatt), Best Director (Joya Akhtar) and Best Film. 

Movie Plot: The movie is inspired by the life of Indian Street Rappers Divine and Nazy. Murad (Ranveer Singh) lives at Dharavi (Mumbai) with his obnoxious Father (Vijay Raaz) and his father’s young second wife. He is in with love with a local over possessive girl Safeena (Alia Bhatt). Murad wants to be a rap singer but he doesn’t find a way to get success until he meets another local rapper MC Sher (Siddhant Chaturvedi).
