However, one false statement ruined his life. He faces a long courtroom trial and a long struggle of nine (9) years to get the truth out.
Abdul Wahid Shaikh was a suspect in the Mumbai Train Bombing case. The court acquitted him on 11 July 2006 after nine years of struggle. He was the only person to be acquitted out of thirteen (13) suspects.
During his tenure in Jail, Abdul completed his Post Graduate and studied Law. He wrote the Book Begunah Qaidi, originally in Urdu. The book was later translated into Hindi and is now available in English too.
