Himalay Ki God Mein (1965) is a Romantic Bollywood Movie released on 29 May, 1965. The movie was produced by Shankerbhai Bhatt and directed by Vijay bhatt. The movie became superhit on Box Office by earning Rs. 4.5 Cror and also became the 3rd Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie of 1965. 

Himalay Ki God Mein (1965) has some memorable soundtracks such as Kankariya Maar Ke Jagaaya written by Anand Bakshi and Ek Tu Jo Mila written by Indeevar sung by Lata Mangeshkar; Tu Raat Khadi Thi Chhat Pe sung by Mohammed Rafi and Usha Timothy and penned by Anand Bakshi; Main to Ek Khwab Hoon sung by Mukesh and written by Qamar Jalalabadi; Chand Si Mehbooba Ho Meri sung by Mukesh and written by Anand Bakshi. The song Ek Tu Na Mila sung by Lata Mangeshkar and written by Indeevar nominated for Filmfare Best Playback Singer and Best Lyricist, respectively.  Kalyanji-Anandji were also nominated for Filmfare Best Music Director.  

Himalay Ki God Mein (1965) won the Filmfare Best Movie awards whereas Mala Sinha and Shashikala were nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, in the 13th Filmfare Awards. 

Himalay Ki God Mein (1965) Movie Plot: Sunil Mehra (Manoj Kumar), a doctor, is kidnapped by dacoits in Himalaya Valley and tortured him badly before leaving him half dead. He is looked after by a village girl Phoolva (Mala Sinha) and soon falls in love with Sunil but her dacoit father Lakhan Singh (Jayant) is against their alliance. Further, Sunil has already been engaged with Neeta (Shashikla) who is also a doctor.

Once cured Sunil returns to City and again visits Himalaya to help poor section of the society with proper medical facilities.  On his request Neeta also joins him but cannot adjust in the village atmosphere and returns to the City.  But Sunil faces confrontation from the villagers who do not believe in modern medicine facilities. Further, Lakhan Singh also makes hurdle in the way of Sunil.
