Himmat - Hindi Film 1996

Himmat (meaning: Dare) is a Hindi-language (Bollywood) Action Thriller film released in cinemas on 5 January 1996. The Censor Board of Film Certification issued an "A" rating to Himmat vide certificate number 3207 on 28 December 1995.

Movie Plot

Ajay Saxena (Sunny Deol) and Abdul Hussain (Sudesh Berry) are best friends. They treat each other like everything and work as secret agents.

After the duo successfully captures some terrorists, the Chief of Secret Services (Navin Nischol) grants leave to Ajay to go to Switzerland. However, the Chief assigns the responsibility of project "M" (India'missile launch project) to Abdul.

Kundan (Kiran Kumar), who is a scientist and a part of project "M," steals the highly secret file of project "M" and makes a deal of the film with Brijmohan alias BM (Mohan Joshi), a white-collar criminal.

BM and Ranjit (Gulshan Grover) reach the remote place with money to give to Kundan and to take the secret file of project "M." While they are waiting for Kundan, Abdul confronts Kundan. A fight ensues, and Kundan kills Abdul.

BM and Ranjit witness it and leave the place with money without taking the secret file. BM wants the file for a dreaded criminal, Luca (Naseeruddin Shah).

In the meantime, Ajay meets Anju (Tabu) in Switzerland, and they both fall for each other. Anju is the daughter of BM (Mohan Joshi), but she does not know anything about the illegal business of her father.

Twist in the story

Ajay returns to India and learns about the murder of Abdul. He takes over the charge of Project "M" and searches for Kundan (Kiran Kumar) to procure the secret file.

Luca abducts Ajay (Sunny Deol) and keeps him in a secret and secure place. Ajay collects secrets against Luca and plans to flee, but all his plans are in vain. However, Luca later releases Ajay to keep an eye on him because he knows Ajay will find the secret file.

Soon Ajay learns about illegal activities and the involvement of BM in the Project "M" case. In the meantime, Nisha (Shilpa Shetty) enters the life of Ajay. What Ajay does not know is that Luca has sent Nisha.
