A bandit named Kala Daku (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) kills Thakur Jaswant Singh (Parikshit Sahni). Mrs. Jawant Singh vows to avenge the death of her husband. For this, she hands over his younger son Shankar (Sunny Deol) to Hari Singh (Ranjeet) to train his son so that he can take avenge his father.
Grown-up Shankar (Sunny Deol), Mangal (Naseeruddin Shah), and Vijay (Chunky Pandey) are the saviors of the villagers from the wrath and cruelty of Kala Daku. Shankar is a Truck Driver, Mangal is a Police Officer, and Vijay is an escaped convict.
When Kala learns about Shankar's plan, he abducts Vijay. Now Mangal and the police team negotiate with Kala to spare Vijay.
