Movie Plot

Madhav Kabra alias Maddy (Imran Khan) and Payal (Kangana Ranaut) love each other during college. After college, Maddy becomes an Architect.

Payal and Maddy start living together in a live-in relationship and happily spend five years together. However, all of a sudden, Payal leaves Maddy. Heartbroken, Maddy tries to find out the reason but all in vain.

Maddy loves Payal crazily and thus tries to find her and win her back. Everyone around Maddy suggests forgetting Payal, but Maddy does not lose hope.

In the end, Maddy comes to know that Payal is a last-stage cancer patient. What happens next is the rest of the story of Katti Batti.
