Kites (2010) [Hindi Movie]

Kites (2010) is a Romantic Action Thriller movie released on 21 May, 2010. The movie was presented both in Hindi and in English. The Hindi Version was produced by Rakesh Roshan and the English Version by Brett Ratner.   The movie was directed by Anurag Basu. 

Kites (2010) finds its place in the Top 10 Highest Grossing Bollywood Movies of 2010 but it was a flop movie since the major part of the movie was bilingual i.e. English and Spanish and subtitles were given in English. This was very uncommon for Indian views as they were not used to see movies like this. But strange fact is that Kites was the first movie to reach in weekend Top 10 in North America yet it collected merely 48 Cr in gross worldwide collection against a budget of 50 Cr.

Movie Plot: Jai (Hritik Roshan) is a Dance Teacher by profession and lives at Nevada, Las Vegas. But for money he marries with those girls who need Green Card. During one of such events he marries with Linda (Barbara Mori). Thought the marriage was meant for money only they gradually falls for each other without disclosing the fact. 

One more girl Gina (Kangna Ranaut), daughter of a powerful Kasino Owner (Kabir Bedi) falls for Jai and wants to marry with him but Jai wants to marry her only for money. During the period they spend together Jai comes to know that Tony (Nicholas Brown), brother of Gina is going to marry with Natasha who is actually Linda, the love interest of Jai. He meets with Linda alias Linda and spends a night together. Tony comes to know about them and his men try to kill Jai who somehow manages to flee with Linda. In the way of escaping in a car Linda boards Jai in a train and drives off. Jai has now a mission to find his real love interest Linda but the fact is Gina is in love with him and wants to make him own at any cost.
