Liger (2022) Movie Synopsis
Liger is an upcoming Bollywood Sports Action Drama Film being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The film was released worldwide on 25 August 2022 in Cinemas. Liger stands for a crossbreed between a lion and a tiger. The title of the film also has the tagline “Saala Crossbreed”.
Puri Jagannadh has written and directed the film. Karan Johar has jointly produced the film along with Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Charmme Kaur under the Banner Dharma Production and Puri Connects.

Vijay Deverakonda is making his Bollywood debut with this film and Ananya Panday is playing the lead role in the film. However, Janhvi Kapoor was the first choice for the film but due to date issues, Ananya became the lead girl.
Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy also play pivotal roles in the film. Makrand Deshpande, Ali, Vishu Reddy, Getup Seenu, and Abdul Quadir Amin have played supporting roles in the film.
Movie Plot
Vijay Deverakonda is playing a Kickboxer with a stutter.
Production Details
Deverakonda went to Thailand for martial arts training and underwent a dramatic physical transformation for his role.
The shooting of the film has begun on 20 January 2020 in Mumbai. However, due to COVID 19 and nationwide lockdown, the shooting was halted. Now the new shooting schedule is to take place in Hyderabad.
The film was shot in Hindi and Telugu. However, dubbed versions of the film will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada simultaneously with Hindi and Telugu versions.
