Luka Chuppi 2 is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) film, and the sequel to the 2019 film Luka Chuppi featured Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

Luka Chuppi had a budget of Rs 25 crore (approximately) and earned around Rs. 130 crore at the box office worldwide Gross. The film was released on 1 March 2019.

Luka Chuppi 2 has an approximate budget of Rs. 30 crores. The film will release tentatively on 30 December 2023. However, the makers have not announced any official release date.

Laxman Utekar, who earlier directed Luka Chuppi (2019), and Mimi (2021), is the director of Luka Chuppi 2.

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are in the lead role in Luka Chuppi 2 replacing Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, who were in the lead role in Luka Chuppi (2019).

Movie plot

Luka Chuppi 2 depicts the story of a couple (Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal). The couple wants their own house away from their family.

The couple plans to use the Indian Government's flagship program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Now problem ensues while acquiring their dream house through a Govt. program.

Luka Chuppi will also emphasize live-in relationships with a twist.

Production update

The shooting of Luka Chuppi 2 started in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, in December 2021.
