Movie Plot
Usha (Bindu Panicker) lives with his three children, including Manu (Sharaf U Dheen), the eldest son who works with Public Works Department (PWD).
Meera (Rajisha Vijayan) and Malavika (Malavika V.N.), the other two children of Usha, are college-going students. While Malavika remains a carefree girl who is least concerned about family matters, Meera understands the family's financial condition. She takes responsibility and starts giving tuition as part of her responsibility towards the family.
Usha belongs to an upper caste and takes great pride in her identity. Usha and Manu share a close association with the Nair Service Society (NSS) and are against inter-caste marriage.
Soon, Manu becomes the secretary of the local NSS unit and falls in love with Salabha (Aarsha Chandini Baiju), the daughter of NSS president Indrasena Kurup (Vijayaraghavan), thereby maintaining the caste dynamics.
The mother-son duo soon learns that Meera shares a romantic relationship with a Christian boy. Usha reluctantly makes up her mind to accept the collaboration between Meera and the Christian boy. However, their shock intensifies when they discover that Meera is involved with many men.
Usha and Manu decide to marry Meera with a Nair man. Meera happily accepts her marriage proposal because she is unaware of her family's knowledge about her relationships.
The rest of the film depicts the efforts of Manu and Usha in organizing the wedding without any disruptions.
