Movie Plot
The film Matti Katha is set in a rustic village near Hyderabad. The story follows four college-bound friends - Bhumaiya alias Bhuma (Ajay Ved), Srinu (Akshay Sai), Yadagiri (Raju Aluri). and Raju (Bathula Teja).
Bhuma loves Rajya Lakshmi (Maya Mannu), the daughter of the village landlord, Patel. On the other hand, Srinu falls for Vasavi.
The four friends enjoy their youthful joys and the loss of cherished ancestral land by the village landlord, Patel, the father of Rajya Lakshmi. He often grabs land from the illiterate village farmers by cheating.
Raju (Bathula Teja) is the son of a police official, Peti Narasimha, who arranges question papers for his son. Bhuma indulges in a fight with Narasimha, and the latter gets injured.
Patel, who is keeping an eye on Bhuma, asks the Sub Inspector to make a case. In turn, the SI asks for a bribe of Seventy thousand for not making a case. And Bhuma is left with no option but to again take a loan from the greedy landlord, Patel.
