Movie Plot

Meera (Anushka Sharma) and Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam) are a happily married couple and corporate businesspeople in Gurugram (Haryana).

One night, while returning from the office, some hoodlums attack Meera. She escapes from the attackers and visits the police station with Arjun. Keeping the safety of her wife in mind, Arjun buys a gun for his wife.

Soon the couple plans a road trip to celebrate Meera's upcoming birthday. The couple stops at a roadside Dhaba (a small restaurant on the highway) to eat something.

A married girl Pinky (Kanchan Sharma), seeks help from the couple. Meera and Arjun see a gang attempting to kill Mukesh (Tushar Grover), husband of Pinky.  The gang members capture Pinky, beat Pindky and Mukesh, and thrust them into a car.

When Arjun interferes, the gang leader Satbir (Darshan Kumar) thrashes Arjun, tells him that Pinky is his sister, and leaves with his gang members with Pinky and Mukesh.

Arjun gets angry, takes out Meera's gun, and starts following the gang member's car. Arjun stops his car in a remote place, where he sees the gang member's car.

Twist in the story

Arjun asks Meera to remain inside the car and start looking for the gang members with the loaded gun. However, when he sees gang leader Satbir and other people brutally killing Mukesh and Pinky, Arjun gets afraid and tries to escape. In the meantime, Meera comes there in search of Arjun. The gang members see the couple and keep them hostage.

A fight ensues, and Arjun inadvertently shoots Chhote (Ravi Beniwal), one of the gang members, and runs away with Meera. The gang members continue to follow and attack the couple. Arjun gets injured in the game of the cat and mouse race.

Meera hides Arjun at a railway bridge and leaves to get help. She finds a police station and tells Constable Dhulichand (Siddharth Bharadwaj) about the entire episode. The constable denies helping when he learns that it is about honor killing.

Inspector Ahlawat (Sushil Tyagi) meets Meera outside the police station, assures her of the help, and takes Meera towards the crime spot. However, when she learns that the Inspector is connected with the attackers, she kills the Inspector and runs away in the police jeep.

The gang continues to follow Meera until she takes shelter in a hut occupied by a married couple. They advise Meera to seek help from the Sarpanch (elected village chief) Ammaji (Deepti Naval).

The biggest twist

Meera meets Ammaji and tells her the story of honor killing and seeks help. Soon she gets surprised to see Pinky's picture in the house. Meera learns she has reached the killer's house and is badly trapped.

What happens to Meera? What happens to Arjun? What will Meera do now? The film NH10 gives replies to all such queries.
