Movie Plot

Bishamber Prasad (Prem Chopra), a  corrupt, cunning, and white-collar criminal, stands in the election in Udaipur. An honest man Dutta Babu (Parikshit Sahni), stands against Bishamber Prasad, intending to change the system.

People vote for Dutta Babu in the elections, but Bishamber Prasad misuses his power and makes the election results in his favour. Dutta Babu starts a strike against the election results and receives death threats. His wife (Aparajita) tries to make him understand, but Dutta Babu remains adamant about his decision.

A goon of Bishamber Prasad shoots Dutta Babu dead at the strike spot. Inspector Ranjit Singh (Rajinikanth), an honest and upright police officer on duty, gets shreds of evidence against Bishamber. However, his senior DSP Ravi Khanna (Dalip Tahil) becomes a hindrance for him.

Ranjit is the son of Major Ranjan Singh (Alok Nath), a man of principle. On the other hand, Ranjit's mother, Veena Singh (Bindu), is greedy for money. Bishamber gives money to Veena and asks her to leave the city with her family. However, Ranjit realizes the truth and returns the money.

In the meantime, Ranjit meets Namrata Singh (Rekha), School Teacher,  and falls for her. Namrata is the sister of Murlidhar (Shafi Inamdar), a corrupt ally of Bishamber.

The biggest twist

Namrata proposes to Rajit for an immediate marriage, to which Rankit and his father agree. As Ranjit continues to be a thorn in Bishamber's side, Charandas (Charan Raj), a partner in crime with Bishamber, kidnaps Namrata with school-going kids. Ranjit tries to save his wife, but Charandas kills Rajit and rapes Namrata.

Namrata's life shatters, but his father-in-law Major Rajan Singh (Alok Nath), motivates her, and Nmrata vows to avenge Bishember and his gang. She becomes Superintendent of Police. What happens next? How Namrata takes her revenge? These are some queries the film Phool Bane Angaray replies satisfactorily.
