Power Play is a Telugu language Crime Thriller film released on 5 March 2021. The film is also available in a Hindi Dubbed version with the same name.

Raj Tarun, Hemal Ingle Poorna (Shamna Kasim), Ajay, and Kota Srinivasa Rao play pivotal roles in Power Play. Hemal Ingle made her acting debut in Power Play.

Movie Plot

Vijay (Raj Tarun) happily lives with his parents and is engaged to Keerthy (Hemal Ingle).

One day he withdraws some money from a Bank ATM and goes to a Pub with Keerthy. When Vijay makes the payment at the Pub, the Manager finds the currency note fake. Police come into action and takes both Vijay and Keerthy.

At the same time, police find some pieces of evidence of drug dealing in the city and a connection between the son of a high-rank police officer and some politically influential people. The highly ranked police officer asks his subordinate to divert the media to some other case.

Since the police want to divert the drug mafia case, they present Vijay as the culprit for the fake currency racket. However, they leave Keerthy after her father (Darbha Appaji Ambarisha) visits the police station.

The false charges made life of Vijay like hell. He does not get the IPS job and finally decides to find the people behind the fake currency racket.

However, Vijay does not know that his finding of the fake currency racket will connect him with another case. A case where the criminal-minded CM candidate Poorna (Poorna), her father (Kota Srinivasa Rao), and her husband (Ajay) are involved. Now the life of Vijay and his loved ones are in danger.
