Pratiggya [meaning: pledge of promis] is a Hindi (Bollywood) Action film released on 23 June 1975.
Pratiggya is one of its Biggest Hits of Dharmendra in the 1970s. The film became the 5th Highest Grossing Hindi Film of 1975.
Ajit Singh Deol (as Kunwar Ajit Singh) and Bikram Singh Dehal are the Producers, whereas Dalal Guha is the Director of Pratiggya.

An honest police officer Davinder Singh (Dharmendra), lives happily with his wife (Urmila Bhatt) and a boy kid. Sepoy Shivcharan (Nazir Hussain) is a loyal assistant of Devinder Singh.
Bharat Thakur (Ajit Khan), a dacoit, attacks the house of Davinder Singh. Mrs. Davinder Singh (Urmila Bhatt) hands over his son to her domestic help (Leela Mishra) and asks her to leave. Bharat Thakur kills Davinder Singh and his wife and sets them on fire. Shivcharan gets badly injured but escapes from death.
The domestic help (Leela Mishra) nurtures and grows the kid into a young adult Ajit Singh (Dharmendra in a dual role). The grown-up Ajit Singh is illiterate and works as a truck driver. When the foster mother (Leela Mishra) of Ajit Singh is on a deathbed, she tells Ajit Singh the story of his honest father, Davinder Singh. Ajit Singh vows to avenge Bharat Thakur (Ajit Khan) by killing him.
Ajit Singh learns that dacoits hide in a small village Dinapuri. On his way, he witnesses Inspectdor D'Souza (Satyendra Kapoor) and his team intend to set up a police station in Dinapur. They have a truck full of weapons and ammunition.
Bharat Thakur and his gang attack the police team and kill them. Inspector D'Souza is also injured. He requests Ajit Singh to save the truck from the dacoits before succumbing to his wounds.
Ajit Singh pretends to be a police officer and sets up a police station in Dinapuri. He meets Radha Thakur (Hema Malini) and falls for her. Radha is the niece of Bharat Thakur, but she is a kind-hearted and brave girl who does not support the activities of her uncle Bharat Thakur.
