Punjab '95 (2023) Movie Synopsis
Punjab '95 is an upcoming Indian Hindi, Punjabi, and English language Biography film scheduled to be premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival from 7 September 2023 - 17 September 2023. The film will later be released worldwide.

Movie Plot
Based on the life of prominent human rights activist Jaswant Singh Kalra (1952–1995). He was a well-known Sikh human rights activist. He gained global attention for his research on 25,000 illegal killings and cremations involving the Punjab police. He also revealed that the police had even killed around 2,000 police officers who refused to cooperate.
In September 1995, Khalra was last seen washing his car in front of his house in Amritsar. Later, six Punjab police officials were convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for Khalra's abduction and murder.
