Kabil Singh and Chhaparo have two sons, Deepa (Dheeraj Kumar) and Balvinder. Suchha Singh and Karmo have three daughters. Guddi (Simi Chahal) is the marriageable eldest daughter.
Chhaparo is a manipulative woman and manages to bring a wall between the two families. She does not like to keep any relationship with the family of Suchha Singh. Chhaparo even does not allow the three sisters to tie Rakhi to her sons on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The two brothers love their cousins (sisters) but can not express their love due to fear of their mother.
Time passes, and Deepa (Dheeraj Kumar), the eldest son of Chhaparo, gets married to Naseeb (Mandy Takhar). However, Succha Singh and his family are ignored during giving marriage invitations.
Chhaparo instructs Naseen to keep her distance from the family of Succha Singh, especially Guddi. Naseeb understands that her mother-in-law is the root cause of the separation of these two families. However, she cannot go against her mother-in-law.
Manjinder Singh (Tarsem Jassar), a wealthy young man, sees Guddi (Simi Chahal), falls for her, and wants to marry Guddi. Manjinder tries to find a mediator, but his efforts go in vain.
Manjinder approaches his paternal aunt or Bhua (Satwant Kaur), who is connected to Naseeb. Bhua asks Manjinder to become the mediator for the marriage of Guddi and Manjinder. However, Naseen refuses the proposal due to fear of her mother-in-law.
Somehow the marriage of Manjinder is fixed with Guddi. Chhaparo learns about it. She also gathers about the involvement of Naseeb, her daughter-in-law. Chhaparo throws Naseeb out of his house and successfully breaks the fixed marriage of Manjinder and Guddi.
Can these two families become one? What happens to Naseeb? What happens to the marriage of Manjinder and Guddi? The film Rabb Da Radio gives replies to all such queries.
