Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language Action Thriller film scheduled to be released in cinemas on 28 September 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and the original Telugu language. However, the release date has now ben postponed. The tentative releaes date of the film is 12 November, 2023
Prashanth Neel, who had written and directed KGF Chapter 1, has written and directed, Salaar too. Vijay Kiragandur is the producer of Salaar. He was the producer of KGF Chapter 1 too.

Movie Plot
Salaar narrates a story of the late nineteenth century. The story follows a gang leader (Prabhas) who tries to keep a promise made to his dying friend and takes on the other criminal gangs.
On the other hand, an Anti-Terrorist Squad soldier (Prabhas in a dual role) is after the gangs and the leader. However, he may be involved in a larger conspiracy involving the country.
