Nikhil (Randeep Hooda) is a police officer (Sergeant) in London. He uses a 20-year-old boy as bait in a dangerous operation. The plan goes wrong, and the boy dies during the secret mission. Nikhil also loses one of his legs.
The boy's death sends the Sergeant into a post-traumatic stage that takes six months to recover. He gets back to his job, but now as an officer in the National Cyber Unit (desk job).
Nick wants to hunt for the criminal who escaped during the last unsuccessful mission. However, the desk job does not provide him with the required opportunity.
Moreover, he is simply incapable of seeing dismissal. His repressed ego, prejudiced perspective, and emotional trauma lead to self-destruction and clouded heroism.
