Shamshera is a Hindi (Bollywood) Action Period Fantasy film released on 2 July 2022 in cinemas.
In 1871, Shamshera (Ranbir Kapoor), a leader of the Khamiran tribal, lives happily with his wife (Irawati Harshe), who is pregnant now.
On the other hand, Daroga Shudh Singh (Sanjay Dutt), with the British rulers, hatch a heinous plan. Shudh Singh hands over the tribal people to Britishers, who take them as slaves.
Shamshera vows to free his tribe. However, while trying to free his people, he is killed by Britishers. His wife gives birth to a male child Balli.
The story goes 25 years ahead when Balli (Ranbir Kapoor in a double role) becomes a grown man. Peer Baba (Ronit Roy), the friend of Late Shamshera, trains Balli during these 25 years and has made Balli a brave man. Balli now decides to make his tribal people free from the Britishers. What Balli does and whether he succeeded to form the rest of the story.
