Shashank (2022) [Film] Synopsis
Shashank is a Hindi (Bollywood) Biographical film that was sheduled to be released in 2022. The release got postponed and the film finally got relased on the OTT platform Hungama on 14 June 2023.
The film allegedly takes inspiration from the life of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who committed alleged suicide on 14 June 2020. However, the makers of Shashank have clarified that the film is a work of fiction.
The film got delayed due to legal issues. The family of the late Sushant Singh Rajput filed a court case against the producers of the film Shashank. However, the matter seems resolved, and the film has released in 2022.

Movie Plot

This story also covers the situation faced by some strugglers who come to the film industry with the ambition to be a star and the circumstances they face. The film further narrates about nepotism, drugs, harassment in the film industry.
