Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga (2022) [ Hindi Movie ]

Sherdil [not to be confused with Sher Dil (1990)] is an upcoming Hindi (Bollywood) Drama. The tentative release date of the film is 24 June 2022.

Sherdil takes inspiration from the creepy and painful events. These events took place at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Cast & Crew

Srijit Mukherji is the Director and Story & Screenplay Writer of Sherdil. T-Series fame Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment are the Producers of Sherdil.

Tiyash Sen is the Cinematographer, and Pronoy Dasgupta is the Film Editor of Sherdil. Shantanu Moitra has created Background Music for Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga.

Cast

Pankaj Tripathi, Neeraj Kabi, Sayani Gupta, and Akshay Kapoor have played pivotal roles in Sherdil.

Movie Plot

Gangaram (Pankaj Tripathi) is a middle-aged married man who lives in a village near Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. He is a good man and wants money for the welfare of the villagers.

The government administration declares that every person killed by a tiger will get Rs. 10 Lakh. Gangaram tries to convince villagers to give their lives for the better living of their family by surrendering himself to the tiger at Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. However, he fails to convince anyone in the village and decides to do the same himself.

Gangaram starts his journey to find a tiger. Whether a tiger kills him or not?  If not, what happens to Gangaram?  Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga tells the rest of the story.
