Shubh Nikah [Meaning: Auspicious marriage] is a Hindi Social Drama film released on 17 March 2023.

Bhupender Singh Sandhu and Arpit Garg are the producers, whereas Arshad Siddiqui is the Writer-Director of Shubh Nikah.

Ravi Bhat is the Director of Photography, Hardik Singh Reen is the Film Editor, and Firoz Shaikh (Vicky) is the Choreographer of Shubh Nikah.

Sunil Singh is the Background Scorer,  Liyakat Ajmeri is the Music Director, whereas Husna Khan and Liyakat Ajmeri are the Lyricists of Shubh Nikah.

Movie Plot

Marriage in the Hindu religion is called VIVAH, whereas in Islamic law, marriage is called NIKAH. SHUBH is a Hindi language word that means Auspicious. Accordingly, the film  SHUBH NIKAH narrates the story of a cross-cultural marriage.

Munnalal Mishra (Rohit Vikram) and Zoya (Aksha Pardasany) love each other. However, the biggest hurdle in their marriage is their caste. Munnalal is a Hindu boy, whereas Zoya is a Muslim girl.

Twist in the story

Munna and Zoya try to convince their families, but all in vain. Both families are not ready for collaboration. However, Munna shows his willingness to convert, and somehow both families agree to the marriage of love birds.

However, it is not as easy as it seems. The situation takes a U-turn when some troublemakers try to start communal riots.
