Ana (Ariana Sajnani), a US-raised girl, decides to return to her ancestral home tome in central India. She wishes to start a Library in the village. However, her meritoriousness ignites a storm in the village’s politics and bureaucracy.
Ana tries hard to procure the requisite permissions for opening a library but all in vain. Ana then stands for the Village Council elections to deal with this impasse and to encounter further absurdity in the political and social systems.
