Movie Plot

Lachchi's (Sanjay Rrao) desire to marry Pranavi (Pranavi Manukonda) becomes a reality when the girl's parents agree to the match.

However, their happiness is short-lived when the village priest (Duvvasi Mohan) reveals the presence of Kundali Dosha (a malefic placement of the planets in a birth chart/horoscope).

According to the priest, Lachchi must first marry a dog to nullify the Dosha before marrying his true love. Lachchi agrees to the advice of the priest and marries a dog.

Twist in the story

Just as Lachchi prepares to marry his love interest, fate intervenes in the form of an unexpected court case. The petition says that the Hindu Marriage Act prohibits a man remarry without obtaining a divorce from his first wife.

So to get married to his love interest, Lacchi has to divorce his first wife, who happens to be a dog. What happens next is the story of Slumdog Husband.
