Sukhee (Shilpa Shetty), a 42-year-old housewife, lives in Ananandkot with her husband, Gurcharan Kalra (Chaitannya Choudhry), and their fifteen-year-old daughter, Jaspreet (Maahi Raj Jain). She used to be in love with Gurcharan twenty years ago, but she's unhappy with their current relationship due to his changed behavior.
Gurcharan appears to be a responsible husband who provides money to Sukhee every month to run the household smoothly. Sukhee, however, feels bored with the monotonous routine she's had for the past twenty years. Her daily tasks include waking up early, making morning tea and breakfast for her husband and daughter, packing their lunches, and spending most of her time in the kitchen preparing dinner.
Furthermore, Sukhee believes that her husband is partially responsible for their daughter's misbehavior, as Jaspreet has become a bit of a troublemaker.
The problem escalates when Sukhee decides to go to Delhi alone to spend quality time there, despite Gurcharan strongly objecting to the idea.
The story delves into the complexities of love, marriage, commitment, family, responsibility, guilt, and the possibility of redemption.
