Movie Plot
When Romi (Zidane Braz) asks his mother, Ana (Genelia Deshmukh), why he doesn’t have a father, Ana explains that his father is very busy and doesn’t have the time to be around as work is his life.
Shortly after, while watching his uncle’s favorite channel on TV, a telemarketing channel as the uncle is a shopaholic, Romi picks up on a few lines said by the lady on the TV ‘Get this item for a Trial Period of 30 days, and if you do not like it, then you can return it’.
It sparks an idea for Romi to get a new father on a Trial Period. Enter PD (Manav Kaul), an unemployed history teacher, who is boring, simple, and his use of proper Hindi language can border irritation.
Ana sets a clear goal that PD must somehow make Romi run away from the word Papa (father) in 30 days. What happens next? Film Trial Period narrates the rest of the story.
