Udaan (1997) is a Bollywood Thriller Drama Movie released on 03 October, 1997 (India). The movie was produced by Guddu Rangeela, Lalit Yadav and Raju Narula. Udaan (1997) was directed by renowned Bollywood Actor and Comedian Asrani. Musical duo Anand-Milind composed music for the movie. The movie stars Rekha, Saif Ali Khan, Madhoo, Prem Chopra, Dalip Tahil and Danny Denzongpa in the lead roles. 

Udaan (1997) Movie Plot:  A very big industrialist Sahay (Jave Jaffrey) runs his business empire with the help of three company Directors Sood (Prem Chopra), Sethi (Dali Tahil) and Rana (Danny Denzongpa) who are actually back stabbing him. 

Everything was going fine until Sahay’s daughter Varsha (Rekha) returns from foreign and becomes active participant in business. These three directors try to make Sahay to join them for illegal activities but Sahay refuses to be a part of them and hence killed. An honest inspect Sharma (Mohnish Behl) is assigned the charge to investigate the matter but this trio manages to frame him in a false case for which he is suspended. 

In a parallel story Raja (Saif Ali Khan) is a petty thief, meets Madhoo (Madhu) and they fall in love with each other. Chandra Prakash (Achyut Podar), father of Raja, used to work in Sahay’s company but fired without any reason and he is not paid any fund etc. To solve the issue Raja meets Varsha and comes to know about the evil thoughts of the trio through Chandra Prakash. But before Varsha could do anything she is provide mentally unstable and admitted in a mental asylum with the help of wicked Dr. Mehta (Mohan Joshi).
