Vanilla (2018) [ South Movie-Hindi Dubbed ]

Vanilla is a Kannada language Thriller film released on 1 June 2018. The Hindi dubbed version is available on Priya YouTube Channel with the same name.

Jayathirtha is the Director and original Story Writer of Vanilla.

S. Jayaramu is the Producer of the Kannada version, Jitender Gulati is the Producer of the Hindi dubbed version, B. J. Bharath is the Music Director, Kiran Hampapura is the Cinematographer, and  K M Prakash is the Film Editor of Vanilla.

Cast

Avinash J, Swathi Konde, and Ravishankar Gowda play lead roles in Vanilla. Mallikarjun Devaramane and Girish Shivanna play pivotal roles in the film, whereas Anand Samasti, Chanchala Bhat, Chandrahas Ullal, Giril Godhuli, M.S. Bhat, Mallesh, Nandagopal, Pavana, Rehman, Parameshwar K.S., Prakash Shehnai, Prasanna, Raghavendra Rai, Raghu Raam, Raghu Samasti, Shwetha Srivatsav, Sowmya Sri Jain, and Sudhi play supporting roles.

Vanilla also features Kiran, Jayanth, Sanjana, and Pavan.

Movie Plot

Avinash (Avinash J) and Swati (Swathi Konde) are childhood friends who meet after many years as grown-up adults. Swati has a brother named Praveen, who loves Lavanya.

Avinash and Swati start spending time together. One rainy day Avinash finds Swati standing on an isolated railway over-bridge in front of a dead body. Swati is badly terrified and not in a condition to utter a single word. Avinash throws the body on the railway tracks, drops Swati at her home, and returns to his home.

When Avinash calls Swati on next morning, he finds her phone unreachable or switched off. In the meantime, the police team finds the dead body.

The case incharge (Ravishankar Gowda) learns about a red car that belongs to Avinash. He visits Avinash's house and finds it locked. However, he inquires from the neighbor-cum-friend of Avinash (Girish Shivanna), who informs Avinash about the police investigation.

In the meantime, police find the dead body of Lavanya, the love interest of Praveen, brother of Swati. Praveen also goes missing.

The rest of the film narrates a web of mystery that unfolds in the climax with twists and turns.
