Vijay (1988) is a Drama Bollywood Hindi Movie released on 11 August 1988 (India). The movie was produced and directed by Yash Chopra. This movie is inspired by Yash Chopra’s earlier Movie Trishul (1978) starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjeev Kumar in lead roles. Vijay (1988) features an ensemble star cast consisting of Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, Rajesh Khanna, Raj Babbar, Rishi Kapoor, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Anil Kapoor and Maushmi Chatterjee.  Anupar Kher won Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actor . 

Vijay (1988) Movie Plot: A rich man Yodhraj Bhall (Anupam Kher) lives with his two marriageable children Shahi (Raj babbar) and Suman (Hema Malini) and wishes to get them married in rich families. But on the contrary Suman loves Ajit (Rajesh Khanna) and Shashi loves Rita (Moushmi Chatterjee). Since both Ajit and Rita belong to poor families Yodhraj disapprove collaboration of his children with respective partners from poor families. However, Suman and Shashi marry to Ajit and Rita respectively. Suman also starts living with Ajit and soon becomes son of Vikram (Rishi Kapoor). 

Yodhraj hatches a plan and sends Shashi to another State and gives a blank cheque to Rita to leave from the life of his Son Shashi. But unfortunately Shashi is killed in a plane crash. Due to death of his brother Suman returns to Yodhraj alongwith his Son Vikram and starts living with her Father leaving devastated Ajit alone. Rita also dies after giving birth to a baby boy Arjun (Anil Kapoor) who is taken care of by Inder Sen (Saeed Jaffrey) like his own son. 

Years later Arjun and Vikram become befriend without knowing that they are cousin. But soon they come to know the truth and now Arjun, Vikram and Ajit want to take revenge from Yodhraj.
