Shekhar Kapoor (Priyanshu Chatterjee) is a jobless young man. He has nothing except a Motor Jeep, which reminds him of the memories of his father.
In search of a job, Shekar visits Mahabaleshwar from Goa and meets his best friend Ali Khan (Ravi Kishan). Ravi sends him for a job, but Shekhar does not get the job.
Sekhar starts a journey for a new job and ends up in a pub. Laila (Laila Patel), the pub owner, introduces him to Pratap Singh (Nawab Shah). Pratap acknowledges him as a contract killer and assigns him to kill Sonali, his niece, for two lakhs of Indian rupees. He gives Shekhar rupees one lakh in advance and a picture of Sonali.
Shekhar shows his presence of mind and accepts the money because he understands if Pratap learns about his real identity, he will kill him for knowing his secret.
Shekhar visits Sonali's house, alerts her about her uncle's evil wish, and leaves. He also posts a letter to the nearest local police station informing them about the intentions of Pratap Singh.
During his journey, Shekhar meets Shekhar Ambarsingh (Ayub Khan), the contract killer. Since both shares the same name, Pratap (Nawab Khan) misunderstands Shekhar (Priyanshu Chatterjee) for Shekhar Ambarsingh (Ayub Khan).
Shekhar manages to escape, but his bad luck follows him as his car hits a man. Shekhar brings the injured man to a nearby hospital, where he meets Inspector Sameer Yadav (Shahbaaz Khan), who doubts the integrity of Shekhar.
Pratap Singh (Nawab Shah) visits the hospital, and Shekhar learns that he is the Superintendent of police. Pratap Singh takes custody of Shekhar and leaves. Inspector Sameer Yadav does not like Pratap Singh for his corrupt practices. However, being a junior to Pratap Singh, he is duty-bound to follow his orders.
Pratap wants to kill Shekhar, but Shekhar flees from his custody and visits his house. He explains the entire story to Sonali, takes her with him, and finds shelter at Ali Khan's (Ravi Kishan) house.
Shekhar plans to expose Pratap Singh without knowing that he is in a deadly game of lies and deceit where no one is who they claim to be.
