Zwigato is a Hindi film that premiered at Toronto International Film Festival, Canada, on 19 September 2022. The film premiered at the Busan International Film Festival, South Korea, on 6 October 2022. The film was released worldwide on 17 March 2023.

Nandita Das is the Producer-Director and one of the Screenplay Writers of Zwigato. The other Screenplay Writer is Samir Patil.

Cast

Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami play the lead roles in Zwigato. The film also features Gul Panag, Sayani Gupta, Swanand Kirkire, and Tushar Acharya.

Movie Plot

Manas (Kapil Sharma) lives with his wife, Pratima (Shahana Goswami), in Bhubaneshwar, India. Manas works as a Floor Manager in a factory. However, due to the Covid pandemic, he loses his job.

Manas joins a food delivery company that takes orders through the delivery App Zwigato. He now lives a monotonous life of packing the food bag and roaming around the city on his motorbike to deliver food packages.

Problem stats ensue when Manas faces inconvenient obstacles and impatient customers. He finds a shortage of time and thus spends less time with his wife.

To lessen the financial burden from Manas, Pratima starts a job as a cleaning staff at a mall. Manas does not like the idea and thus has to confront his old-fashioned ideas and explore some unconventional way to earn bread and butter for his family.
