Kafir: Gerbang Sukma is Indonesian -language ( Horror and Supernatural Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 29 January 2026.
The story continues the nightmare of the Sri family eight years later. Sri (Putri Ayudya), Andi (Rangga Azof), and Dina (Nadya Arina) try to build a normal life and leave their old trauma behind. They believe the danger is over.
But their peace breaks when strange and frightening disturbances return. This time, the attacks are stronger and far more deadly.
As fear grows inside the house, dark secrets come out, and the family is pulled once again into the world of black magic.
In the middle of the chaos, a man from their past appears. His name is Jarwo (Sujiwo Tejo). No one knows whether he has come to save them or whether he will open the Gerbang Sukma, the Soul Gate, that could destroy the family completely.
