Mom is Hindi -language ( Revenge Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 07 July 2017.
Devki Sabarwal is a caring and respected biology teacher. She tries her best to build a bond with her stepdaughter, Arya, but Arya still misses her late mother and keeps a distance from Devki.
During a party, Arya faces a terrible assault by a group of men after she rejects their advances. She survives and identifies them, but they walk free because of weak evidence and gaps in the legal system. Devki feels broken and loses trust in the law. She then seeks help from a private detective named Dayashankar Kapoor, also known as DK, to make sure the men face punishment.
Devki quietly starts taking action against each man involved. She leaves no clear proof behind. As these men start meeting their downfall, Arya begins to feel that someone is protecting her, without knowing that it is Devki. In the meantime, Inspector Mathew Francis studies the clues and slowly begins to suspect Devki.
