Young Aarav (Master Fardeen) and the young Kaajal (Master Akive) love each other. Aarav's parents (Gajendra Chauhan and Beena Banerjee) and Kaajal's grandmother (Farida Jalal) fix their marriage in their childhood.
Grown-up Aarav (Bobby Deol) is a car designer. He goes to the United States of America to fulfill his ambition to become a car designer.
Aarav meets Anna (Bipasha Basu) in the USA, and soon they both fall in love. Aarav gets a car designing job with the help of Anna.
Mr. Virwani (Shakti Kapoor), the chairman of the car company, gets impressed by the extraordinary work of Aarav and decides to launch the first car designed by Aarav.
On the day of the car launch, Aarav learns that Anna is the granddaughter of Mr. Virwani, who announces the car launch and engagement of Anna and Aarav simultaneously.
Aarav has to return to India to see his ailing father, who pressurizes him to marry grown-up Kaajal (Priyanka Chopra), the childhood love of Aarav.
Kaajal and Aarav get married. However, Aarav loves Anna, and he decides to divorce Kaajal.
