Aruvi (2017) is a Tamil Language Thriller Movie depicting notion of modern social people and societies. The movie is written and directed by debutante director Arun Prabhu Purushottam. The movie was initially released on July 14, 2016 in Shanghai. Thereafter, it was released in India for general public on December 15, 2017. Aruvi is now being dubbed in Hindi and scheduled to be released on March 19, 2020.
Movie Plot: The movie revolves around Aruvi (Aditi Balan) who became rebellious whose life takes U turn when she was when she was molested by those who were supposed to give her shelter, support and helping hand. Aruvi with the help of her friend find a channel producer who agrees to make a TV on the problems faced by Aruvi. During the shooting things get drastically changed and she not only shoots the Director but also makes the entire cast and crew hostage.
