Movie Plot

The story of the film Ashtadigbandhanam revolves around four primary characters.

Gautham (Surya Bharath Chandra) is a brilliant software engineer. He is in love with a pretty girl, Priya (Vishika Kota). 

Sri Ramulu (Viswender Reddy) is a Minister in the Praja Welfare Party. He is a money-minded politician and can go to any extent for money.

Shankar (Mahesh Ravul) is a Bar owner and works as a right-hand henchman of minister Sri Ramulu.

Chakri (Ranjith Narayan Kurup) is a corrupt police officer in the town and happily lives with his loving wife, Priya.

Cross connection of these four

Shankar wants the Bahadurpur MLA seat presently held by Narsingh Yadav. The minister, Sri Ramalulu, asks him to deposit Rs. fifty Crore party fund to get the ticket.

To arrange Rs. 50 Crore, Shankar plans to rob a bank and seeks the help of police officer Chakri, who further suggests the name of Gautham to open the bank locker.

Gautham needs immediate money for some unavoidable circumstances and agrees to rob the bank.

A criminal game

After the successful heist, a game of crime and deceit begins, and the money goes missing.
